Hi I live in Ct. looking to buy a Testarossa at Gullwing Motor Cars, Inc. 24 - 30 46th St. Long Island City NY Toll Free 888-849-0977 1991 Ferrari Testarossa $56,500 28k If anyone could check this car out for me that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Lamarossa
You have got to be kidding me. I want to take pictures during the trade-in..... If this is for real, congrats man, and don't worry -- the EC crew has a short memory span...
MY CAR 88.5 TR 12K MILES...NEW 3OK SERVICE, TUBIS,NEWTIRES YELLOW/.BLACK...PICTURE IN MY PROFILE... $68K IF INTERESTED IF NOT, IT WILL BE BYE BYE NEXT THURS FOR A TRADE FOR A 550 BRUCE
Anthing I have ever seen at that dealer was a "real driver" type car(driven hard, put away wet). If you are serious jump on Bruces car, it's fully serviced and even had Carbon McCoy as a driver - certainly at some point that will had $$ to the vehicle.
I agree with Dave. It would take you 40 minutes to drive down from Greenwich to Astoria, where they are located. Why not feast your eyes on these unique purveyors of "collectible" automobiles yourself ?
btw... one of the mechanics at cc, i think its guiseppe? has a red 308? with parts from different ferrari models he fabricated... he has enzo lights and rear diffuser, 360 side top and bottom intakes, 550 nose, etc... looks very unique. very nice paint job too.
I would avoid any of those guys in the Northern Boulevard vicinity. It's like buying from Exotic Car Wholesalers or The Auto Toy Store...
just buy burce's car eventhough it's too much money! just kidding. just buy his car. TR if not taken care of are money pit and believe me i know from experience. i am sure from what i know from bruce the car has got to be in good condition.
Lamarossa, Congrats on the decision to step up to a TR - fantastic cars, but with equally fantastic repairs if their not maintained well (and sometime even if they are). I wouldn't rule this car out just based on the dealer, but I would have the car checked out by a real Ferrari mechanic before buying. If this place is serious, they will not mind you bringing the car to a mechanic of your choosing or bringing the mechanic to them for a look. Best case is that the car checks out and the money spent gives you piece of mind that you made the right decision. Worst case scenario, you spend $500-$1000 checking the car out, it doesn't check out and you don't buy it, and it saves you MUCH more $$ in the future on car repairs. Best of luck. David
Hey also think about it -- your current monstros--er, car is Yellow, Bruce's car is Yellow....keepin' it in the family! nlh
I wouln't buy anything from that dealer unless you do a thorough check of the car. The garage that they keep the cars in are mostly vintage wrecks or totally abused cars. I would compare that place to a dog pound would abused dogs. Really! Once in a while he'll have something nice on the sidewalk, but thats the extent of it. You get what you pay for, and with a Testarossa, you want a good example or......good luck!
Wait. The "Lamarossa" is real? I thought it was a fictional character like a Jackalope or the Abominable Snowman or Hillary Duff.
oh spliffffffffffff lambarossa is real i thought it was just a funny joke spread around forums your like a real urban ledgend
Holy sh*t i almost fell of my chair reading that quote. Nah its real I'm still driving the Home Depot Ferrari Supra everyday of the week. Hopefully i could get this TR. Lamarossa
don't buy a TR, the cost to fix it every two weeks will be more then the car is worth in less then a year. Besides as we saw out on LI your lamarosa is faster! Just get it painted.......
