    Hey guys,

You were all very helpful in aiding me with questions and concerns with the F360 that I purchased previously. So I hope you all may be able to help again!

I have an 05 Gallardo std. shft. Yellow over Black. 12k on the odo, one owner car previous, Tubi, lowered. Excellent shape overall. My issue is this:

A/C doesn't work! Worked on the test drive two months ago (in fact was TOO cold). I placed it into ECON mode after purchase as I didn't need the the drier air and it has been cool temps. Today in the 70's and it simply doesn't get cold! Does anyone know if a plugged filter or similar could cause this? Warranty JUST expired 20 days ago, and closest Lambo dealer is 225 miles away.

Any clues? This is my daily driver as I don't believe in letting these cars be garage jewelry and this frustrates me.

Thanks again guys! Look forward to any advice!

    Adam

Does the compressor clutch engage when the AC is turned on?

I had a Toyota with a similar problem. A/C worked fine one summer, and the first hot day of the next year (on an 400 mile drive back home!!) did not work. The freon leaked out of the system over the winter.

A local shop might be able repair it, unless Lambo uses some weird A/C technology.

This is stating the obvious, but just to make sure...in ECON mode (LED "on") the A/C is off. In order for the A/C to run the ECON switch (and the LED) must be "off".

Yer i would have thought they would, its probably going to be an audi A/C unit to so a local shop would probably be able to help you.

Darolls: Hard to tell for sure, but it appears that there is a change in idle speed when I switch from ECON (led on) to ECON led off. So it appears to try to start the compressor, or something.

DodgeViper01: Thank you! It is a hoot. I just need to get adjusted to the constant cell phone photos and videos while I am driving. No other car I have owned has ever turned heads like this one.

ski_bum: Thank you! Could have happened. Just odd.

    doltmo: yes.

**nismo**- good point! Might call them.

Thanks guys. If anyone comes up with anything else. PLEASE let me know!

My 04 that I had had a similar problem... Worked fine for 1.2 years - then blowing nothing but normal air.

Turns out the compressor had to be replaced (thankfully under warranty). Your best be is to have it looked at. I would also see if it is the compressor - if there is an audi/VW equiv part. May save you a few thousand...

Might be on to something. It started working (albeit intermittantly) today. Was close to Gran Prix Imports in Wilsonville. Jason in the service dept. got me right in. Was able to note the compressor was not engaging. Also, the high side pressure was low. Added additional R134 to level the two sides. Still couldn't get consistent operation. (It worked again on the way home.)

    Any other clues guys?

I do have a call in to my local (yes 225 miles away) dealer, the EXTREMELY nice and helpful service writer (James at Lamborghini Bellevue in case anyone cares) is going to also make a petition to Lambo to cover the repair as the warranty just expired 20 days ago.

Is there some other simple solution?

    Adam
