I have some sticky parts and want to take them out to send to Robbie at StickyNoMore. I am having trouble removing the passenger door handle. I removed the Allen head bolts holding the handle but it doesn't come off. Am I missing something? And on the dash vents....I've read about people getting the ring off but can't really find a good post about removing the whole vent. I've tried "pulling" on it as some posts say but can't get any to budge. Last thing; the mirror switch in the center console. Does it simply pop out? My console has been painted to match the car and don't want to scratch it.

Your best alternative is to view the exploded view parts from RIcambi or other parts supplier. This should give you a good idea of part placement and removal.

The grab handle on the passenger door has a screw going into the top bracket from inside the door panel. You will need to remove the panel to gain access. The based of the grab handle has a Phillips head screw holding it into place under the interior door lock release. You need to remove the door lock release to gain access.

The mirror control panel is held in place into the center console with four small screws only accessible by removing the center console. Please know to remove the center console there is a 14mm nut under the leather in the small open compartment at the rear of the console. In the F1 you will need to remove the reverse switch to gain access to some of the mounting bolts as well as the ash tray.

To remove the vents please see the link below and have patience.

yep, the passenger door handle is held by a nut on the back of the leather door panel. The geometry it tricky, as well. I had to disconnect the speakers, metal rod for door lock actuation, and other misc. trim.
And do not forget about the little contact / sensor that is attached to trailing edge of the handle. The open gap in the sensor is what tells the car to lower the windows once someone lifts the door handle from the inside.

yes it is a pain, my car went in for service so I had the shop handle it. Decided after trying to remove it that it was beyond my patience level.

FOLI was incredibly reasonable when they charged me to remove, send out and reinstall all of the interior parts that were sticky. Best money I spent. Saved tons of time and look brand new.
