Ok so trying to install my new harness bar here but I cannot figure out how in the heck to get the rear sale panels off in the 348.

If anyone has the maintanence or parts manual shots (my digital versions got stolen on my laptop this weekend when my house got broken into) I would really appreciate if you could post the picture for me so I can figure out what on earth is holding them in.

I tried just pulling on them thinking it was just the normal push pins after plugzit said they were but I had to stop cause it just sounded a little to strange and the last thing I wanted to do was break the damn things.

    Any help is appreciated. :)

John; The center section has two long studs on the back that go through the firewall and have nuts in the engine compartment. Look between the plastic coolant pipes, a couple of inches outboard of the struts for the engine lid. Once you get the nuts off, you can slide the center panel forward, then I think you can get at the screws to take off the side pieces. I did this a long time ago, so I don't remember exactly, perhaps someone else can hop in here. This diagram is for the cars that don't have the seat belt retractor in the center, but it gives you the general idea.

Ya, 2 10mm nutz, use deepwell 1/4 drive. Looks like ya torqued it some, you can bend it so it fits tighter when you get it off. Don't ask me how I know, lol.

Mine looks almost exactly like glpellegrino's. Dont worry I am anal about keeping my car both looking good and running good so you have nothing to fear. :)

The harness bar is a simple modification that when I am done will look factory. When I take it out you wont even know it was there trust me.

    LOL! That'll leave a mark.

When you take that out no one will know the car was there.
