Need help w/02 maserati coupe alarm...

    My battery on my remote key died, so i opened the door with the key...therefore I set teh alarm off...so now I cant turn it off! (Had to turn off the battery switch to stop the alarm. Is there anyway I can turn it off so I can drive it until I get a new key from the dealership? Thanks

    I can't give you any definitive answer on a Maserati, but if it is similar to the system used in the Ferrari 360, the owners manual describes a procedure for doing this using just the mechanical key (not the wireless key fob which died on you) and the PIN code that was originally supplied with the car. Does your owners manual have such a description?
