    Hi All,
My 348 TS doesn’t have the original roof cover for behind the seats. Spoken to Ferrari, still got the shakes for their quote on a new one. Would appreciate if someone could post a photo or perhaps the dimensions of their cover so I can look into getting one made.
    Thanks in advance!

The cover for the removable top section or the top section itself?

    Welcome to FerrariChat, RK!
Here are four pictures of the factory roof cover from my 348ts (front, back, corner detail, and strap detail). The cover is a very tight fit over the roof panel, in fact I am starting to have one of the seams come unstitched, but the material itself (black vinyl with white backing) is OK. The straps are not elastic, and the snaps are pretty fancy, with little prancing horses on them.
The cover fits into a protective bag when it is not in use, which is why you can see the fold marks on it.
I can provide dimensions if you wish, but in general you could just use your targa top as a pattern. The only semi-difficult part is the extra "bulge" to clear the latches.

Fantastic, the photos are perfect! Will now look into how much it will cost to get one made. Dont worry about the dimensions, as suggested I'll use the roof as a template. Thanks again!

How much were you quoted for a targa cover from Ferrari, that gave you the shakes? Mine cost $240 about 6 years ago.

1200 Pounds??? That's over $2000! Is that possible?? For Ferrari part number 63348200? I think that has to be a mistake.

I just called Ferrari of Seattle, where I purchased my top cover in February 2001, for $240. They told me that the number I quoted (63348200) is still a good part number for the vinyl top cover for a 348ts or 355, it can still be ordered, and the current price is $335 plus tax, but they haven't sold one for about 3 years.

Try this part number with your local guys tomorrow and see what happens.
