I think I’m ready to take the plunge into Ferrari ownership, and have narrowed it down to the 360 that I’ve lusted over since it was launched when I was 18 years old. They’re in the price range where I could now afford one if I sold off some other cars. While I’ve narrowed it down to a 360, the question is now do I want a gated manual, or could I live with and enjoy an F1 equipped car? Especially relevent as there’s usually a pretty big price difference between the two. Unfortunately, it’s not easy to just go and test drive them to compare. Is there anyone who could help me with some seat time to help me decide? I’d certainly prefer the drivers seat, but would settle for the passengers seat, as I realize it’s a big ask. I’d offer a drive in any of my cars if you’d be interested (though I don’t know that it’d be much of an enticing offer for a current 360 owner, lol.) My current (fun) fleet consists of a beautiful 33k original mile 66 Chrysler 300 convertible, a Ford Focus RS, a Manx style buggy, and a Mustang Mach E performance. I’m located outside of Baltimore (Bel Air, and work in Columbia) but would be willing to travel within reason. Or as an alternative, would I be better off attending Ferrari club events, and trying to make friends? Thanks for reading my long post and your help/suggestions! Forgot to mention, I have a perfect driving record, lol.

Talk to the awesome guys over at Competizone (Gaithersburg). They have a few cars on consignment. Fchat sub is only $15 a year, well worth it...just the tech help from the community can be immensely valuable.

    Good luck and welcome!

You could join FCA and go to an AutoCross. To get a ride, all you have to do is ask.
