    Hello to all,
I recently bought a MDS F50 GT kit, and i need some help with the instruction booklet. Some of the photoatached parts doesn't appear on the instructions, and i can't find a pic of the interior, where you could see the seat, the steering wheel, etc.
If you have a F50 GT from MDS or an interior pic... Please help me!!!

When I made my own F50 GT conversion I was looking for pics of the interior and really didn't find any. All I can tell you is, that the co seat is out and a fire extinguisher in that location. The driver seat is a racing seat and I would assume there is a roll cage, probably similar to the ones in the F40 LM or Challenge cars. Good luck.

    Thanks for the answer Andreas!!
The kit includes a racing seat (only one), the extinguisher, and more things, but the instruction booklet is too simple, and don't show where you should put some photoatached parts.
I'll sow you as soon as i can some pics of the kit, and some of the instruction booklet too.
I've searched in the internet for an interior pic, but i didn'f find one.
This is the only one that i've finded, but i need another one of the front. The pic is of a MDS F50 GT.

First of all the instructions of these special kits are not very good. I made that experience with other 1/18 Ferrari modification kits. But I got over it and now just take some liberties until somebody tells me I did something wrong.
    :)

That internal shot you post is more than I've ever seen and I stood right next to a real F50 GT. But I couldn't look inside as the windows were tinted, so I darkened the windows on my model too.

If you need pictures of the front, let me know, I have shots from all around of the outside. But there isn't really much to it. The differences on the front are only the front wing and the hook.

PS: As a comment to that foto: If your kit is like that, I would take a black marker and darken the far end of that central air intake. There should be a hole, but if you don't have one, make it dark so it looks the part from a distance.

Oh, i know that the instructions of that kits aren't good, the instructions of the 250 GT Drogo were a shame, but the ones of the F50 are worse...
The kit is the same of the photo, and it has the central air intake, but in the mounted model, it's not painted.
On monday (i'm at work now, and i don't have here the camera), i'll show you the kit and the lousy instructions...
    Thanks again, Andreas.

One of the F50 GTs is for sale for a while now and on this page there's a small picture of the interior. Click on it for bigger size.

I've got a few pictures (granted they're still through the glass), let me upload them. If they're good enough and you want the full size versions (3244x2488), let me know. Also have about 200+ differnet pics I took of chassis 001.

Will edit in links in a little, once I've uploaded the pics.

    Edit:
Here we go. It's the best I had concerning the interior. At least you know where the ECU and fire extinguisher are located/positioned.

    Thanks to all.
By now, i think that i don't need more help. I've started the model today, but i've only painted the body in red.
I'll tell you and show you how it goes in the next days.
Those are the pics that i've promised to Andreas, with the several parts of the kit, and the instruction booklet (soooooo simple book).

    Awesome kit!

That booklet looks very familiar. Probably the same company that made the Can AM Ferrari I built. In my case I ended up with a few parts that were simply left out of the booklet. Kinda like Ikea furniture...

    That one made me laugh...

The resin body doesn't look exactly perfect, but not bad. Should be an interesting build-up with such a lack of detailed instructions. So I'm assuming it's curbside, w/o engine?

I would think so. The GT had the engine cover painted in red so you wouldn't see it anyway unless you really go all the way out and make the hood hinged and put a F50 engine underneath.

In my conversion based on a F50 I have the engine in there, but you no longer can open the hood.

Looking sharp. Now stop it with the paint job. I always end up with too many layers of paint until it starts to curl.

OK. The paint job is stopped.
I always have the same trouble that you've with the paint job.

Do you have to polish the paint? It look a little flat.
