See the photo for the plastic receptical or "block as its called.

I have checked the parts breakdown and none of the referenced ones around the car in the Parts book are the same as these anywhere else on my car. So any help is appreciated, mine was replaced by a metal clip as the original had been stripped out by a previous R&R of the battery.

If you know id apprecaite the part number

    Thanks

BTW, was working in same area today and would like a word with the guy who designed those panels. Taking off the battery panel and reinstalling it properly is an act of God :)

PS, your batter clamp is upside down :)

BMW uses clips just like that and the dealerships usually have bins of them in the parts department.

Or, just go to NAPA, or ACE Hardware, whatever. It boggles my mind why people don't check places like these for what is standard hardware. Sorry, I just had to say it. I see it so often. Again, sorry if I offend anyone. Not the intension.

John, look above, I posted the same place :)

Hardware stores probably have them but may not have metric.

I kind of hate those plastic things........
The one under the dash holding my OBD connector is stripped.
Hell I can barely see it, fixing it may be the $100 plus an hour job for the mechanic.
    DAMN...DAMN...DAMN ;)
