need help with inter tie rod

    i have a 1990 348 ts. upon putting new tires on it the tech noticed alot of play in the sterring. it looks like the inter tie rod is loose.. any ideas? is there anybody who rebuilds these rack. or does anyone know where to get parts for this problem.. thank you very much.

    You may have a collapsed bush in there mate? I have seen it before on here. An Fchatter machined up his own bush and fitted it himself to his 348. I forget who it was, but a search may come up with something?? :):)

    Or.........you may have an inner rack end worn out. Easy job to replace worn rack ends. :):)

    had my whole rack rebuilt in Birmingham UK for £120, Made such a difference.
