need help with paint color matching

    my 308 got a small dent a while back and it is at die karosserie getting repaired. turns out the blue paint is not a ferrari factory color. the shop is having a hard time matching the color. so i'm hoping someone here knows something about when/who repainted the car; any leads will help. the car is a 1978 308 GTB, blue/blue, originally sold in CA, sn 25705. i have names of the previous owners, so i can PM them to anyone who thinks they can help.

    You can get a good match easy enough. But you're going to need to take the car to an auto paint supplier so that can put a handheld computer on it to read the paint color. Match should be 99% accurate. Find out who supplies your shop's paint and go straight to them.

    Any good shop should be able to match the colour exactly.

    I've even done it myself by eye.

    Their name, Die Karosserie, indicates it's a German owned shop; maybe they're against the Italians! :)
