Need help with proper bumper color.

    I have a 1985 308GTS QV. It has the boxter paint scheme and US bumpers. When the car was last painted (not sure when, before I owned it), the rubberized bumpers were sprayed in gloss black. I believe to bring it back to original they should be satin or flat? Does anyone know what the color should be?

    Hello Craig - OK, this may not be a Pebble Beach answer but it's a start - we have a 78 GTS and the color of our bumpers is - natural rubber. They are not painted. Now what Ferrari does 6 years later or 10 cars from ours later may be different. I do know the 328's are the color of the car.

    I have a 78 GTS and I am going to paint mine with SEM trim black, its a satin finish meant for this sort of application. I get it at my local autobody supply store.
