Passenger (R) tail light is out. Here is what I have done.
Bulbs changed- new bulbs work on left side old bulbs work on L side too.
Fuse checked- Fuse good and swapped with L side just to be sure
    Reverse lights work- center bulb
No power to harness (bottom 2 should show approx 24 v on the meter, L side good r side no voltage.
Parking light button lights the lights on both side just fine. (Not a broken wire)
Sooooo.... The left side rear tail light works when I turn the lights on but the right side only works when I engage the parking lights with the button on the console)

    2000 550 Maranello L hand drive (US).

What have I not checked and what am I missing?

Not sure, but I had similar issues and it was a hot red wire in the tunnel harness. Jumped the connector and spliced it, no more problems

Will you elaborate on what you mean by jumped the connector and where was it located in the tunnel?

The connection in the tunnel harness was not making good contact. Narrowed it down to a red wire which i assume to be 12 volt. Cut it on both sides of the white male/female connector and spliced wire to "jump" the connection. My mechanic figured it out, took forever to find issue, I believe there was some blackening or other signs of poor connection at that site. Might be same as you but sounds similar

Have to take center console apart (easy). It was the harness that, at least in my car, was located on the right side of tunnel next to gear box. There are several connections in there. If you unplug the correct one I think all power to rear goes away, that was the one malfunctioning for me
