Going on Marks advice to contact a woodworking shop and getting one custom made, i called a few, and got laughed at a few times :(
But i found a place that was keen to do a unique project like this.

    I have a few options:
I can get it made out of Wood, PVC piping, Aluminium, C/F or Resin.
I can also get it made so that parts detach eg.. the warhead.fins etc...

What material would you guys think would be the best???

Wait till the wife finds out about this....:(

I'd make calls to Raytheon in Tucson, AZ. I was there a couple of months ago looking at many weapons (SRAM, HARM, Tomahawk and Phalinx). Maybe they will sell you a gutted HARM missile if it's for display. Tell them you are a science teacher at a major university.

Do you think there are Phoenix missiles for sale that are found on the Tomcats? Those things were $500,000 new. It would be like hanging an F50 from the ceiling.

Empty shells are cheap, guidance systems and explosives are expensive ;)
