    hi a friend of mine has a 77 308 whats eng oil capacity for oil,filter chaNGE?and do you guys rec 20/50 conv oil?is there only 1 eng oil drain plug when draining oil? thanks

    20W50 if he lives someplace warm
    10W30 if he lives in Alaska
    There are 2 plugs, one is for gear oil, and one is for engine oil. He will want to drain the right one.
    He needs 10 qrts
    Filter is UFI or Baldwin, don't buy anything else.

    I would suggest using dinosaur oil since it is an old iron cylinder car. They usually burn a lot if synthetic is used.

    I like Brad Penn oil. The green oil. Has a lot of zinc in it for the older cars.

    Do not forget the oil in the clutch transfer case.
    Separate drain and fill plugs.

    He asked about motor oil. That is not for motor oil.
