A/C in my car is not working. controls seem correct. No errors, fans work correctly.

the compressor clutch is not engaging, not is the condensor fan working.

Anyone have a circuit diagram for those specifics or suggestions what to check?
    thanks in advance

Yeah, I was suspecting one of 2 things, low pressure cut out switch (low freon)
    or some electrical screw up.
the thing was working couple days ago. seemed to be all of a sudden.

I don't have the circuit diagram to look for the problem.

1st.. thing to do in diagnosiing a/c ...put gauges on and check pressures.... don't waste your time on electrical if the system is not charged.

right low freon, low pressure switch open on the dryer.

I found it easier just to open up the cover over the dryer and check
the low pressure switch. It was open, indicating low freon.
took about 3 minutes to do.

    Thanks all for the help!

Sure, I'll take some pictures tonight.

Actually you and PAP are the ones that helped me. One of you guys posted part of a schematic at some point in time :))
item 105 min/max pressure switch & evaporator control switch.

If the low pressure switch is open the compressor clutch can't be engaged...
safety thing. Was told that if you just turn on the key to on and push the A/C
button on the control unit the compressor clutch will engage.
I made sure the complete circuit was working by "jumping" the low pressure switch. You can also check the condesor fan and circuit by jumping the hi pressure side. You don't need to have the engine running.

Where can I get a circuit diagram for a 348, I'm new to this car.

We experienced another small problem this summer. The A/C does not work if you have more freon than the spec says. Should be betwen 950 gr up to 1000 gr. Not more.

That is correct. You never want to 'overgas' your A/C system. The compressor takes 210cc(.37pints) of compressor oil. :)

Thank you for this post. I just replaced my solenoids 68 and 67 along with the hidden 30amp fuse, then put some more 134a in the system to what I thought was 40psi, but the AC compressor was not kicking in on victory ride. I feared I had connected the solenoid 67 wrong, but I read this post first, then double checked the high and low pressure with a different manifold. The pressure was too high and pressure switch was preventing the compressor clutch from kicking it. Everything seems to be fine now.
