So, my new car purchase is not going so well. I've been driving the new ride for a few days while waiting on the CapitalOne Blank Check (tm) to arrive. The car has already been in the shop once for vibrations, and is going back today for the same thing.

When I asked for my truck back while they were repairing the not-yet-purchased vehicle, they informed me that it had already been sent to auction.

I still have the title right here. How can they do this?

Keep in mind, if they FIX the car there's no issue. I just don't like the truck being gone while the deal isn't done. Too close to theft in my mind.

Not entirely sure, but they don't need the title to secure ownership of your trade. I believe a signed 130 form gives them the ability to re title the truck if you refuse to hand over the title or if you lost it.

Seriously though it is a well done cheap to operate car that has a great warranty.....
