    military base/airfield..they have similar events there a few times per year.

    there are a few on the coast, i am just afraid that it may be too cold that time of year, or too foggy

    What about Calabasas High? I drive by it when I go on my canyon runs. It's close to VCR as well. Countrywide looks good, it's close to the freeway which is always a plus.
