I'm replacing the thrashed interior in my GTS. What's there now looks like it's probably not correct; if someone out there has a correct E-style interior in beige, would you be willing to send me some photos? I'm particularly interested in whether certain trim pieces were always black, or whether all trim pieces matched the seat and door panel colors. Also, can anyone tell me what correct carpet color choices are for a red car with beige trim panels and seats? It's not clear to me which of beige, black, or grey would be valid choices.

    Many thanks for any help.

    Mark,

Please find an image of my E series (GT) before it was redone. I believe when you ordered beige from new ... the seats, door cards, and fire wall behind the seats were in beige (or red). The carpet was also beige but a darker value. As shown, the center console, e-brake, top of doors, sill panels, and pillars were in black Dino vinyl. Instrument panel/Dash in 'mouse fur'.

    Hope this helps,

    Tom

Many thanks, Coop and Tom, for the photos. I'm torn between black carpeting and beige. Black seems more practical. Was it a correct option at the time?

AS far as I know, you could mix and match them anyway you wanted, and black was certainly an option.

for example, my car shipped from the factory with blue Daytona seats and RED carpeting.

no reason to think that black carpet wasn't an option.

If you go black on the carpet, I think I'd do black on the firewall too.

    Mark,
Thanks for that info. I continue to learn and am reminded that there are few, if any, absolutes when it comes to Dinos!
    Cheers,

Thanks to all of you for your help. I've ordered a complete interior from Re-Originals - it'll be beige/black Daytona seats, beige leather door trim and firewall cover, and black vinyl console. Carpet will also be black. Jim Silva at Sure-Fit in San Leandro will do the install - he's done excellent work for me in the past. I can't wait to get it done and start driving the car.
