Hi all, I'm buying a car that is currently in Long Island, NY and I want to move it to Folsom, CA. I've searched our blog for info on my request... but nothing current.

Does anyone have recent a experience and/or recommendation on enclosed car transporters? I can shop this on the internet... but would prefer peace of mind by going with a recommended carrier from fellow auto enthusiast. Any lead would be helpful. Thanks! -Marc.

I know a number of people who have used Intercity for cross country hauls and were very happy.

    calif67,

Thanks for the price inquiry. Normal retail rate is $1838, your FerrariChat price will be $1659 for a normal sized car. We will have availability in the next few days if the car is ready to ship. Please let us know if we can help you with your move.

    Thanks,
    Jim

I had Intercity ship a car for me from PA to CA last year - They were very helpful and met an extremely tight time window ( I had an 8 hour time window and and they met it)
    Worth every penny -
    Jim took care of it

I was very happy with DeMoise Trucking when I had my 2007 911 Targa shipped from SC to CA. The car was wrapped in plastic insidee an enclosed carrier for even more protection. and the price was 100 cheaper than comparable carriers.

+100 on DeMoise!!! I've used them twice! ON TIME AS PROMISED, and the driver's are clean, even where clean gloves and line the drivers seat prior to entering your car.
And there is no question to their integrity what so ever.
    They were fantastic!

I would not even think about calling another company. Demoise picked up my car in NJ, fully inspected it, and had it at my home in California exactly 7 days later in perfect condition...same driver, same truck that picked it up delivered it.
