308 2v: heads: around 340 BHP seems to be the max. 308 4v: 360 - 380 BHP. 328 4v: 380 - 400(?) Several places have experience to get you to this level. Yes, it'll cost you a lot to get there and to keep it reliable. Waaaay more than $5K. Total fools errand financially. But who said anything about being rational. Philip
