We are moving down the street in Richardson. I can see the house from where we live now. I've always used 2 men and a truck with decent results. Just wondering if anyone has suggestions that are affordable and since it is close they don't have to pack the truck to the gills as they could make several easy trips down the alley.

    thanks.

Years back, I would simply start my own moving company. A truck rental from Bright truck rental on Friday with return by early Monday counted as a one day rental. Bright asked for a company name, yet, no proof of incorporation or anything. I called the Texas Employment Commission and hired 2-3 guys by the hour. The hourly rate was decided by asking the going rate, then adding a bit more to avoid no-shows. I bought a fast food lunch and kept them moving.

I've had good luck with Dunrite Moving. Used them 3 times so far and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I'll also be moving in-town toward mid-August, see Two Men and a Truck around here all the time.

You'd give them a good rec?

    Thanks...jsa

I've used 2 men and a truck twice. Good results both times, they worked their tails off.

Hope I never have to hire movers again!

Jim, I'll be happy to come by and offer my opinions and advice on the move if you need a supervisor! :)
