    I'm restless tonight. I think I'm just gonna go pick up a buddy and go cruising some country back roads tonight, and jam out to some good music.

    Help me make a playlist. Preferrably things I can readily download on an MP3 peer-to-peer service. Not that I would do that. That's stealing.

    If you have a favorite band/song I might never have heard of, lemme hear from ya!

    Hard to believe, I'm sure. :) I ran to the used bookstore and picked up a huddy ledbetter cd. Zeppelin was on the classic rock station, and....

    Holy S*** I'm starting to sound like BigTex/Speedy.

    Anyway, I'm in the mood for a cruise, and to jam out. Plus, my truck is in Jano's body shop after a guy backed into it while it was parked, and I've got a no-mileage-limit rental vehicle. Might as well rack up some mileage on Allstate's expense, lol. :)

    What kind of music floats your boat?

    I could suggest several hundred, but all might make you want to give the ol' technicolor yawn.

    Right now, I have slipped into a 70's mode. Cream, Badfinger, George Harrison, Rare Earth, Humble Pie, and the incredible Captain Beyond.

    I just found some amazing Etta James songs from the 50's. Her voice makes my skin tingle.

    Or, some very new alt. rock stuff. Three Days Grace, Thornley, Story of the Year, Breaking Benjamin.

    Maybe a bit of Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, or Jim Reeves?

    How about Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra, or Mel Torme?

    How about a bit of everything?

    Yeah, but I've got things to do tomorrow, can't leave town. This is the next best thing.

    Last time someone hit my car and I got a rental, I racked up 1200 miles in a weekend driving from Lubbock to Dallas to College station and back for the Tech/A&M game. :D
