Any Idea where one can buy new 348 seatbelt hardwear, mine work but are missing the push buttons.
Try Ssnake Oyl at this link: http://www.ssnake-oyl.com/mm5/merchant.mvc . I understand they renew 348 belts. I plan to get mine redone soon. Twenty year old belts probably will not hold up in an accident.
Roberto, you are really getting crazy with your Bella What did you do ? I think Steve has 2 seat bealts available, he replaced the seats with the 355 spyder and they come with seat belts. PM him (Onlyest)
I respectfully disagree with this, because of that was the case then why isn't there a mandate to have them replaced, or at the very least tested yearly once they reach a certain age (similar to emissions test)?
Feel free to trust your belts, but if SCCA requires new belts every couple of years, I think twenty might be too long. The SCCA belts are at least 5 point and much heavier material than those in a 348.
