I need a box of Padrón 1964 Anniversary Series Torpedo Maduro Cigars. My local cigar shop wants $18 each cigar or $360 for a box of 20. Where can I get these cigars cheaper? I need a reliable source that will sell me the real deal.

    Thanks.
    Ken

ironic...i just bought two today. what a nice smoke! they were also priced at $18 ea.

i have spent far more on cubans coming in from canada (thomas hinds in toronto)

that price seems to be consistant w/ what i paid for the limited ed. stick.

I was hoping to get them cheaper, but it sounds as if I am SOL. I am not a big fan of cigars, but the Padrón 1964 Anniversary Series Torpedo Maduro cigar is a wonderful smoke. Once a week after the kids are in bed I have been going outside and smoking a Padron with a class of Bookers Bourbon.

Also, are there any good cigar forums? I have yet to find one I like.

Any Padron is a great smoke. It's the only brand I trust across the board.

Serious cigars sells these for $300 a box but they are out of Maduro.

The best price I've seen is smoke all at $260 a box but they are out as well.

My fav. cigar is the Padron Delicias Natural. Anything Padron is great and you are sure they will be consistent. Their quality is outstanding. I know my local store has a hard time getting things from them. Supply of those specific cigars may be very limited right now.

At first i thought you were talking about early post-embargo cigars, but these are current, yes , and presumably not from that little island just south of the Keys? There was a store in Washington DC from which i purchased a number of different kinds of pre-Embargo Cubans that are legal here, but like old wine, the quality varied, and at their best - Uppmans, Partagas, these were strong cigars in their day that had mellowed with age, to the point of an almost sweet, mild mustiness.
I don't follow cigar auctions, but what are Davidoff Anniversario 80's worth today?? (those were bigger than a double corona, and the last great cigar Davidoff made before he got kicked out of Cuba).

Cheapercigars.com sells 5 pack Maduro 1964's for $71.28; so you could be $14.25 per stick, and $285.12 + shipping for 20.

I have ordered from CC many times without issues, however, their stock is not real time, so I would send them an email inquiring about stock before ordering, if interested.

    A Warning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Padron Aniversarios have become more of a "Knocked off" brand than alot of Cubans! No BS! The fakes are about as bad a cigar as one could imagine.

Padron slightly changes their boxes about every 4-6 months. If you have a tobacconist you trust, who has a long standing relationship with the factory, they will know the most recent configuration so you can get this info and, in turn, question who your buying from online. It is usually a stamp on the box hinge or the code on the bottom of the box itself.

If this gets to be too much of a P.I.T.A., then get a box of Ashton VSG's. You won't be disappointed. ;)

    Good luck.

    Out of my mind
Try Perdomo "square" torpedoes (red label). my favorate, I stopped smoking Padrons after being introduced to this beauty. dark, rich, Cammaroon wrapper, full of flavor to the very end. about $8 bucks a pop...
