I'm getting ready to install my Fabspeed headers and exhaust this weekend. It has been stated that the O2 extenders are not to be installed in the headers themselves. I need a photo of where they are installed and the orientation of the O2 extenders. Thanks for any and all help.

What is this for? I just purchased a set and was told they are 100% bolt on and came with everything needed to install??

Everything is in the kit. I need to know exactly where the extenders mount and how they should be oriented.

When you find out let me know, though I would hope my installer already knows! :D
Did you ask Evan or Joe at Fabspeed?

Thanks. That is what I'm looking for. We start the install tomorrow morning. I will take lots of pics. I did try to contact Evan on this but have not received a response yet.

As I look at the factory exhaust there appears to be a pair O2 sensors in the headers and a pair at the cats. Did you omit one set or do they go back into the new headers? I understand the extenders are to move the sensors away from the extra heat.

Evan has contacted me and it's a go for tomorrow's install. Thanks again Gil (808Forza) for the photo.

So is there anything you would like to share about the install? My header delivery came to my home, unfortunately Evan neglected to tell me it was a "Signature Required" delivery and now I have to waste my time chasing it.. Had I known that I simply would have had it delivered to my office. I am using the Fabspeed heat blankets, hopefully there are no more surprises.

Bill, glad Evan got back to you and the pic helps.

The primary 02 sensors (in the headers) stay the same as the current setup.
The secondary 02 sensors (after the cat converters) are the ones in the picture.
The extenders essentially create a small chamber for the o2 to sample a 'fixed' not rapidly switching exhaust (rich/lean mixture).
I haven't had any check engine lights and the Fabspeed titanium header blankets work terrific. Took about a dozen good drives for the burning smell to go away.

Thanks. I'm off to get working on the car. Stay tuned for pics and a write up of how everything went.

Good luck Bill, look forward to your write up and pics! Just looked on Fabspeed's site for a different part (Alt & Compressor heat shields) and noticed the O2 extenders are listed separate of the headers, to be clear, they are part of the header install kit, yes? Not a big deal either way but want to be sure I have everything I need..

Gary, yes they are part of the header kit. Originally they weren't but to error on the side of caution, Fabspeed includes them on all the header kits. Evan posted this publicly on an earlier header post.
