Need PPI for Bellingham WA 456 -any help?

    Car is part of collection that is being sold due to death of the owner. No maintenance receipts. Had belt change at 6k in 2006 now at 22k. Selling price will be $45-$48k.

    Seller (who stored the cars) said it smokes at start up for 45 seconds and then won't smoke again for the rest of the day.

    could be a good buy, but would need a PPI to know for sure. Seller won't take car to dealer for inspection - so need someone to go to the car.

    Any ideas?

    I'll let the real wrenches chime in but I believe that the color of the smoke matters. Bluish is bad. Like mine had, it probably has the valve guide problem (mine finally went at 48K miles). It was ten grand for guides, valves and a major done at the same time.
