    Hey Guys,
    What's the secret to removing the front cam cover?Do I need to move the fuel distb?It's unbolted and I can slide it to the top of the studs,but then get blocked by the F.D.......
    It's an '82 GTSI......what am I missing?

    try removing the stud before you try to remove the cover..........two nuts lock together at the end of the stud will help to remove the stud from the block.

    Thanks Joe.Just got the cover off.Had to remove the F.D. from the mount,and slid the cover up and over the studs and over to the pass side.Frustrating......removing the cam cover was never taken into consideration when they put the F.D. in that spot.
