Need recommendations on Sushi places in SF

Skip Jack Sushi on Union St. & Octavia. Excellent fish and extensive list of sake.

 

There was a sushi-boat place in J-Town in the main mall but I don't recall if it was actually called Sushi Boat.
It's been awhile since I had sushi in SF.

 

Sushi Ran in Sausalito. The Best in the world.

 

They got a Michelin star. Hard to get in though. Have to get there when they open.

 

Isobune. There's a few locations, Berkeley, and Burlingame.

 

I ate at Live Sushi on the corner of 17th Street / Kansas the other day and it was pretty good.

If you want a low-key hidden gem try Grandeho's Kamekyo on cole street near Haight but be warned parking is a nightmare in that area.

Both have excellent sushi.

 

Try:

Blowfish Sushi on Bryant and 22nd st.

Shimo's on Clement and 25th ave.

Sushi Bistro on Balboa and 6th ave.
