    There was one amazing restaurant located about one and half block south of Ponte Di Rialto. It was located in some small alley (Bartholmew?) that was not well labelled. Attached is a photo leading up to it, which I doubt will be helpful, but suffice to say that if you are in a main busy road, you are not there.

    It could have been Bora Bora (http://www.damamo.it/eng/) which has great reviews.

    In any case, I have not been disappointed by any of the food in the surrounding area. In addition, there is a fish market and some of the restaurants will cook up fresh fish for you if you bring it.
