I am looking to buy a diablo sv from Cannonsburg. Anyone know of a good independent or authorized dealer that's close? I know Alger in five hours away, but thought I may get lucky with someone in Ohio?

    Please let me know ASAP

Your best bet is to have George Evans drive down with one of his portable LDAS systems and have the seller arrange to have the car put on a lift.

The minimum PPI requirements on these types of cars is usually:
    1. An LDAS download - checks for over revs, peak rev duration, overheating, clutch life
    2. Documented evidence of last major service. If this hasn't been done yet, you are looking at a $15K bill right out of the gate
    3. Visual inspection on a lift
    4. Compression and leakdown tests - engine must be stone cold for this so do this as the first step in the PPI
    5. Test drive

There are so few of these cars in the US, 26 1999 models and probably a similar 1998 models that practically all of these cars are known and tracked. If you haven't already, check on Lambo Power - one of the mods (abolfaz) has the dirt on each and every one of them.

Congratulations (in advance) and here's hoping the PPI checks out and you buy the car.

    You won't regret it - I'm obviously biased :)
