    Some of you may remember me posting a while back about a fuel leak in my Testarossa - well after some months of over seas business I am back in town once again.

    I am trying to track down the source of the fuel leak that appears to be coming from the driver’s side. After doing some research here on fchat I have better direction now, but still need some guidance. The part in question is the brass elbow coming out of the fuel tank that appears to go towards the front of the car, under the front belly pan and out of sight. Any ideas?

    Dear Ferraristi,

    Are you sure that the smell is coming from there? An AC line comes off the compressor and goes into the fuel tank as a heat-sink. It then comes out and goes to the front to the receiver/ dryer. If you look at your Owners Manual and check the HVAC system diagram, it should show the lines.

    Thanks for the reply. No I am sure the leak is definitely not from that area, rather I have a feeling it is the drivers side accumulator or one of the fuel return lines. I was just wondering where that hose goes, as nothing forward of the car should need fuel. But I thank you for the information.
