    Errrr....if you are looking to replace the cats with straight through pipes you need 2 of them (1 for each cat) and they should cost about US$300 max...The pipes in your post replace the bypass valve (I think)...

    actually there are 2 secondary cats that connect to the bypass valve, which is the one I'm talking about. The cats that you're referring to are the main cats, I'm aware of that.

    The two parts you posted replace the same section. I am not sure why the one has a different shape, it's possible it creates a better scavenging effect.

    I just realized that the 2.7 and 5.2 models have different pipes in that section. The y shaped one is for a 1995 2.7 and the curved one is for a 1996+ 5.2.
