Hi all, I will be removing my doors soon for some work. I remember a post where an f-chatter built a rack/cradle to hold the door during and after removal. I have searched high and low for this post but have not found it. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it!! Thanks...Jim

Thank you Matthew. That isn't the post I remembered but is helpful! Hopefully some others will offer additional links.
Found this tool online for $64 + shipping. Not sure how well it would fit a 308. Steck 21870 - Door hanger E-Z rest. Attaches to floor jack. Shown on Corvette. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I like that as well. As long as it's got the depth and the padding in all the right places, why not. It looks like a nice rig for a one-man operation. Not a bad price either. Thanks for the tip, as I would like to replace my hinge pins sometime this summer. I could tweak the padding a little bit and make that a nice place to store the top out of the car as well. Yeah, it doesn't look too bad. Door with mechanicals is 80+ pounds. Pretty heavy for one person to maneuver!
