I am in the middle of going through all my hardware getting it ready to ship out for plating.

When I purchased my car the under tray fiberglass was installed with a few different nuts and washers. So I'm not sure what I should have.

I bought the parts from Ricambi america and id like to compare them to what was original.

Can anyone take a photo a close up so I can see the hardware?

I am trying to see the type of nut and the color, as well as the color of the washer.

Are they painted black or plated black as well as the washers are they painted black? maybe cad plated and them painted by the time they are installed.

I will post a photo of what I have.

Black nuts and washers, also bolts along center. Nuts are the dome headed (sealed) type for the 8mm's

I don't know if it matters.....but I just bought some from Ricambi and I think the caps on the nuts were black and the rest of the nut was silver. They weren't completely silver like the ones you got. I just bought them a couple of weeks ago.

No telling from my car what original was supposed to look like, I had a little of everything under there!

Ricambi dies not supply OEM bits for this. I went through this last year extensively.

Thf black nylon domed 6mm OEM nuts are just not available. I went as far as contacting manufacturers through alibaba but was not prepared to order thousands of them.

The best I could find were 6 mm nylalock nuts at a good hardware store.

The washers for those locations are black 6mm holes but more like fender washers . Larger and thinner than off the shelf.

Across the front of engine are black, Allen head machine bolts. I have the sizes written down somewhere.

The balance are black sheet metal screws with correct black washers.

I was going to take the time to source all of these but never finished that project and have a bunch of samples here that are almost right. The black domed hex nuts are unique.

    Bob,
I got some black dome nuts from Ricambi a couple of weeks ago. I don't know if they are just like the OE or not.

I checked my past orders and I ordered 59. When I got them I thought "these are weird". If someone needs them, I will be happy to swap. I can't afford concourse. I am having trouble justifying buying an owners manual!

On my 99 they were all black nylock with a black rubber cap over the threaded portion. The rubber cap is part of the nut.

    Correct.

Ernest said he received them as that from Ricambi when ordering pn 59. Phrogs posted what he received which are silver nylon domed. My hunt for the correct black nylon domed acorn nuts was fruitless. If Ricambi did indeed send ernest the correct balck nylon domed ones then the hunt for them is obviously over. I did not receive them when I ordered them last year but I will check my order history.

edit: Checking my order history I did not order 59 which is p/n 64449900. That parts diagram is hard to decipher as to what is going where. I'll just call Daniel and ask him to have a look at what he is going to send.

This is what we are looking for in 6mm:

As little as it may seem, the reference to the 'domed' nuts, are actually called 'Acorn' nuts, readily available from most industrial fastener stores.

Well then I would guess that the black anodizing on the metal part wears off then.

Now those black domed nuts on my 95 they were located on the engine bonnet.

I had the ones with the plastic tips in my bag of parts I got with the car.

Those are what the 95 had on the under trays.

Maybe that is what Bruce means that those metal domed ones are for the engine bonnet. We were discussing the under trays on the car and for those they are the nylon domed ones that Earnest said he received from Ricambi for pn 59. I haven't called Ricambi but if that is the case then the search for them is over.

The washer s should be black anodized as well.

I wrote Ricambi and his response is that they receive them from Ferrari in silver and black so it may be pot luck if you order them from them as to what you get or maybe specify what you want.

I believe that the car came with black nylon and as far as my search went I could not find them anywhere. YOu can probably find silver or clear nylon domes and you can definitely find undomed 6mm nylalocks.

WHen i get the car on the lift I will revisit this thread on some other specifics on what came OEM but some of the pieces I got from Ricambi were not matching but serviceable.
