Hey boys, I am coming back to the SA area to shoot a couple of fashion models and was looking for a cool abandoned house, warehouse with weathered concrete r brick walls, maybe something unique as well like an old restaurant etc... Old neon signs, old school hotels... A place where I am not going to have to pay a fortune or file permits as thick as the old testament.

The styling is street fashion, not too hih key, but still something I prefer to do versus what I am "known" for. more like this: http://phamous69.com/article.php?article=articles/images/kinga.xml

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, Tim, there's a set of old Spanish Missions in SA proper maintained as National Parks system,. I took the Scouts thru them all, (six?)...everthing from ruins to restored facilities, some still functioning and the famous Rose Window.....

but Bandera offers stunning views of the big hill country!!!

Boerne is a pretty cool little town by SA. a lot like Gruene!!!

You can try the McNay Museum of Art, they charge a small $10-$20 for photo shoots on the property. The main building is a 1920's mansion.

The Japanese Tea Gardens in Brackenridge Park are nice.

You will find plenty of old warehouse type buildings on St. Mays Street just south of Brackenridge Park, lots of bars and music clubs there as well

King William Area may have some good areas but you will have to look around.

Bluestar Art Space is a complex of galleries and studios that has some good old buildings

You can check out La Tuna, a bar/restaurant just south of downtown along the railroad tracks in an indusrial park type of setting.

I am sure that current residents can point you in better directions but I spent 6 years there as a poor college student so I may have seen a slightly different view of SA.
