I have a 6" deep key scratch on my daily driver. It's through the clear but not all the way down to the primer. I prefer not to have a body shop respray and blend the whole fender and into the door. Years ago I had a mobile guy who fixed rock chips and key scratches with an airbrush technique. Does anyone have a good source for this type of work? The source doesn't need to be mobile but that would make it easier. I'm located in Sacramento but would be willing to drive to Bay Area. Thanks in advance.

A mobile touchup service that I have used with great results, although on wheels with curb rash, and others have used is:

    L&M Mobile Car Touchup

Owners are Luis and Monica Lopez.

    Email is [email protected]

    Good luck.

L&M is great. You may not get an appointment for a while.

Finish Line is another good mobile repair outfit.

I used L&M for minor repairs on my BMW. I'd call them again...

Maybe I was lucky. I know he has gotten really busy. He now shops out wheel repair to another guy.
Just in case you don't have it, here is the phone number I have - (408) 230-5440
