There is a thread on that subject: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/part-no-113414-l-h-conveyor.542304/#post-145935077 From what I could see, the New Old Stock of this part is going to have the "dimple" and will not look exactly like the picture shown in your thread, although it will serve the same functionality. Two options to obtain a dimpleless part: 1- find an equivalent old part from a donor car (it will be more than 30 years old, therefore some fragility is to be expected) 2-have a new one made
I have the passenger one side I'll give you for free. You pay the freight. I will not be able to ship until the week of 4/15/19. Greg
Hey Guys, Hope all is well.. Still looking for one of these for the left-side.. I'm going to try and have a 3-D Printer make them. Not cheap but it will be new.. I will keep you all posted..
How Italian is that? Build a car that costs $100,000, in the 80s!, that becomes useless because of one plastic part. OK, actually two.
I'll be interested to see how this turns out. Do you know what sort of filament they will be made from? Most 3D printed parts don't cope well with engine bay temperatures. It is also very hard to make 3D printer parts air tight without coating them with some sort of sealer afterwards. Hope it turns out well as I will be in the market for one of these soon as well. Cheers, Al
Its a Bosch part. This is how they think about it at Bosch Classic: Hello Peter, I can understand your concern, but the Air intake duct even if attached to the K-Jetronic is not a Bosch component. You can find the Bosch components in the attached drawing, Sorry! Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards Nilsa Sorto Automotive Aftermarket, Bosch Classic (AA-TR/ATR) Robert Bosch GmbH | Postfach 41 09 60 | 76225 Karlsruhe | GERMANY | www.bosch-classic.com Tel. +49 721 942-1660 | Fax +49 711 811507-1660 | [email protected] Sitz: Stuttgart, Registergericht: Amtsgericht Stuttgart, HRB 14000; Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender: Franz Fehrenbach; Geschäftsführung: Dr. Volkmar Denner, Prof. Dr. Stefan Asenkerschbaumer, Dr. Michael Bolle, Dr. Christian Fischer, Dr. Stefan Hartung, Dr. Markus Heyn, Harald Kröger, Christoph Kübel, Rolf Najork, Uwe Raschke, Peter Tyroller Then I asked the lady, taken that it isn't a Bosch component, who was the manufacturer at the time. See for the answer: Peter, I will recommend to contact Ferrari Classiche or the former Maranello Parts https://www.ferrariparts.co.uk/ https://auto.ferrari.com/en_EN/sports-cars-models/past-models/ Sorry if cannot help you with a manufacturer. Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards Nilsa Sorto Sad, isn't it. There must be someone who made them?
Has anyone contacted Maranello Parts about having these remade? I was in a similar situation with a couple of other parts & put my name on a waiting list & they eventually had enough people wanting them & remade them. The parts I was after were the front cover for the water pump (took a couple of years wait) & an oil hose from the oil pump to the oil cooler (was about 6 months). Anyone wanting these conveyors should add their name to the list & we may get them remade. Cheers, Al
