I'M LOOKING FOR THE BEST PERFORMANCE TIRES POSSIBLE FOR MY 246GT
I DON'T WANT TO PUT THE MXW's SINCE THEY ARE EXPENSIVE AND NOT THE BEST...

try the Pirelli Cinturato CN36 - old design (looks great), but modern high performance tyre. Excellent test results in a german car magazine.

From when are the latest XSXs You tried? They have been made a bit more modern. Still the old (and in my opinion correct) look but with modern rubber and carcass.

We are very happy with the XWX on the Dino!

If you are looking for BEST PERFORMANCE TIRES, then go to DOT street legal race tires. Hoosier et al.

They are expensive, but XWK offers amazing grip and has exceptional handling. I currently run these michelin tires, and I'm very pleased with them.

I currently drive both tyres - Michelin XWX and Pirelli CN36. The Michelin is good, the Pirelli is better, especially in the rain - also confirmed in the enclosed article from the German Magazine auto bild classic.

    Hi Agreed

    they are both great. https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/classic-car-tyres/ferrari/246.html

If i was planning of doing loads of high speed miles on motorways i would probably go XWX https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/205-70vr14-michelin-xwx.html the current date code on the shelf is 4017

If i was in danger of seeing more water i would go CN36 https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/205-70wr14-pirelli-cinturato-cn36.html current date code 2317 (In the US these come from Lucas Antique Tires https://www.lucasclassictires.com/205-70VR14-PIRELLI-CINTURATO-CN36-2057014CN36.htm )

    But they are both great

By the way we ship the XWX to most places free of shipping charges. just pretend to buy it on the web site and it will work out all the costs and doesn't touch your money right tilll the end.

you can pay in US$, Euro, or GBP (currency button is right at the top of he web page.
