Sure!

Just disconnect all the wires and hoses, and pull the engine out. You'll need a couple wrenches. Maybe a screwdriver too.

Now you're ready to do belts!

 

Downloading those workshop manual is a good place to start. If you've never done it before on that car, read the workshop manual. Whatever you don't find there, do a search in the forums and ask questions. Take some time to study the car and figure out what to do. I don't know in the 512TR whether the engine comes out the top or the bottom, but that's obviously important to know and a huge difference in terms of how you approach the job.

If you've never pulled an engine, get some help. Probably a good idea to have some help even if you are experienced at pulling engines but never done one on a Ferrari before. Having pulled a couple of 308 engines, I can tell you that it helps to have extra hands around, especially someone who has done it before. Better to learn from someone elses mistakes than your own.

 

If it helps. All the pictures I have seen detailing the removal of a TR engine show it coming out the bottom.

 

Testarossa engine comes out the bottom.

512 TR is a different animal. The engine comes out the top.
