Hi all. I am not sure what the English word for the swedish "spindel led" is but when I look it up I get the word "ball Joint". Short: it's a a cup with a ball with a step tap treaded in the top and fit's in the svivel (steering knuckle) it makes the joint flexible in most directions. It's also wise to change booth sides due to the need for wheel aligment after the reparation Both of them are "not" so good in my Ferrarin 308, so my qestion is were can I get a pair of new? And of course so ceep as possible? Please come back to be with any tips. Best Regards MrSweden.
These sound like tie rod ends. They are smaller "ball joint" parts. I replaced mine with the ones advertised by Masersti Source used for the 512BB (I have a 328). They provide replacements for the 308 as well (different than for 328). If you use the same size part that you removed and you kept the securing nut in place, then you will have a minimal adjustment for toe-in after replacement. You should be able to drive a bit prior to taking to the alignment shop to check the utility of the replacement. It is essential to replace both sides at once.
