I actually like the look of the new rims, but agree that the car could be lowered a tad .... BUT ...

You should not lower a car just for looks, you need to make sure that you set the spring rates right and thus never bottom out the suspension, otherwise you will loose grip, etc.

Also does the 328 have large camber changes during the suspension movement?

If it does then the lower the profile the WORSE the grip level. As all that will happen is that the wheel will lift on to its inner or outer edge, because there is LESS flex in the sidewalls. Many cars need higher profile tyres to ensure the tyre can flex and thus keep a full (or near to a full) foot print on the road.

Thus I like it from a looks point of view, but I would have to check out the above points before I felt comfortable in the car and thus not a ricer :)

I doesn't matter what YOU think, I will tell you whats right.
Those wheels are AWSOME, they look great, they make your car
look newer and better. I wish I had a car that looked that good.
Now if I had a 1962 GTO well that would be totally different.
Its a 328, Keep them, Oh ya did I tell you they look AWSOME!!!!!!

i think they look nice... In all honesty, they seem to take away from the car a little bit... They're not flashy or anything, they're actually pretty modest, but they don't match the car... The car has a date to it; the wheels don't age to that date... Not bad, though, i'm not saying get rid of them, they look nice on the car... i don't know if i would do that, though... Just my 2 Rubles...

Hey, one question, though: do they improve performance at all...?

I'v seen a F355 with 512 TR wheels and looked very good. What about on a 328 GTS? Looks good but I'm not convinced if I really like them.
I would say ...., If you really like those wheels keep it because its your car and thats what matters.
Do you have more pics of your car?

It looks good but not better than the normal wheels.
These wheels are to modern for this car!
But the important thing is that you like it, it looks fine but i think its better to have a origanal car

I think they look great. The REAL question is, Do YOU like them? Who cares if they are original. Unless you are trying to win the concourse, it makes no difference. As long as you're not damaging the car.

Just wondering, what rubber are you using? 225/40 and 255/35? If I recall, 512TR rims are 8 inchers in the front, and the bridgestone says you need at least an 8.5 inch rim to mount the tire. :-/

    Thanks a bunch!

I think they look OK but I do prefer the originals, However interesting comments about the wheels, I have an 84 Mondial with Metric rims and have looked for some time now at imperial replacements. All the modern wheels I have seem so far look competely out of place and as yet I have not come across a set of pucker Ferrari at a resonable price.

Still wondering, what tire sizes do you use...more specificly, did you put a 255 on the 8 in in the back?
