    My friend in Austria is in a contest at his company and it's for recognition of his work. His name is Horst Chmiel and if you could vote for him I'd appreciate it! He is on the first column on the left and the vote button is on the bottom of the column labeled "Abstimmen". Translated, his recognition is for "Working with people with dementia and publication of the work "activating care for people with dementia".


    He was in the lead before but 2 other candidates caught up pretty fast in a short amount of time. My guess is that they had their friends use proxies since you can vote once every hour. If your vote got counted, the response will be, "Ihre Stimme wurde gewertet. Vielen Dank!". Otherwise it will say, "Sie haben bei dieser Umfrage bereits abgestimmt!". Thanks again for your help!

    Edit: I'm all for supporting the community, but shouldn't this be about their actual work? I'd like to think that people working with those suffering from dementia would be recognized for their efforts and not through some internet popularity contest.

    I guess he can't count on his patients voting for him.

    Before anyone accuses me of being insentive, I voted for him because I have a father in law living with me who suffers from dementia. It can be a terrible thing, hopefully he can make some progress.
