Had a C4S Cab with a SC installed and it was fast, but it gets cold in Chicago and I decided a coupe was more proper for everyday. But the SC made this car a beast and I liked the power.

Considered a Masarati Coupe, but tales of woe scared me.

Was at my dealer getting some touches on my C4S, the top was already rattling and driving me crazy. Dealer fixed it but told me he would expect it to happen again as it loosened up from the chassis torque. Really bummed!

Just then a 997TT was being taken off the truck, Blk/Blk (not my fav) but PCCB's, carbon and Tip. Perfect for my use. Salesman told me it was already sold. Told him call me if the buyer blink

they called me at 2PM to tell me he's "not sure". I said, "I am".

    Drove it home. I'm psyched!

More, once I drive it a little...

Thread moved to the appropriate sub-forum.

The 997 TT may not give you the same visceral thrill as a Ferrari, but it's a great car. I'm a big fan of Porsches, having owned a few myself.

Let us know first impressions. Oh, and POST SOME PICS!!! - :)

    Congrats!

Well thanks vik, but moving me was a little harsh. After all, no one moved my thread when I asked what others drove daily when they had an F-car.

I love what the car salesman told you...lol, typical car salesman story.

Congrats, I haven't even seen a 997TT yet sice they fly out of the dealerships. It looks great in the pictures though.

Herman, sorry for any inconsistencies in moderation. Your thread is about your new Porsche 997 TT. It is best put in this section on "Cars", where there are many such threads. I'd hardly call the move "harsh." This is a well-frequented forum on FChat that gets many responses. Drop me a PM if you'd like to discuss further.

Look forward to seeing the 997 TT and get your impressions. How are the PCCB's? Heard the new generation will rip yer head off!

Hey, at least he got it out of the Ferrari forum before everyone jumped down your throat for misspelling "360 Spider."
