Most automobile bras are difficult to install, rough on the car, a mess in dirty/muddy/buggy/rainy situations, tough to clean, and take up a lot of space to store (hence usually not in the car, which is where you might need it).

Corvette owners now have a great option, which is:

I have seen and used this thing. It's like a strong piece of spandex. Installation is a 3-second wraparound. Absolutely gentle on the car. Doesn't care about getting wet, dries right on the car after the rain stops. If it gets dirty, rinse it out in the tub or (if really dirty) throw it in the washing machine. Cheap to buy. Can be made in car-matching colors. When not using it, it rolls up into a bundle the size of a sweatsock.

Arguably it is not going to be as much a protection against really big rocks as a heavy vinyl bra would, but for normal road crud & suicide bugs it does just fine.

We absolutely need something like this for Ferraris! Vendors out there, please take note and hurry! :)

Incidentally it occurs to me that this thing is so easily stretchable that one might be able to modify a Corvette one to work on at least some Ferraris.

It's fastened at the top by two plastic clips that grab points to the rear of the radiator, at the bottom with a strip of velcro underneath the car's nose, and at the right & left by snaps that replace four screws inside the Corvette wheelwells.

The top & bottom are not a problem. I don't think that many Ferrari owners would like to drill screw holes into their wheelwells. Possibly a long velcro strip at the inside edge of each wheelwell might work. Have to machine-sew it to the edge of the bra, replacing the four metal snaps, of course.

Another problem is the headlights. In the case of the Vette, this thing is pre-cut to go nicely underneath the lights. This might or might not be the case with different Ferrari models.

I will play around with this thing on my 328 a bit and see if it might work. If so, I'll report here.

The latest Griots catalog features a spray-on front end cover. It even peels off after use. I'm a bit skeptical; anyone ever try this?

I never understood the logic behind putting something really ugly on your car to keep it from looking ugly.

Bra's don't belong on anything especially young women and Ferrari's.

The idea is that you use the bra only temporarily, when you're going for an extended drive on a truck-intense freeway, a high-bug route, etc. Normal driving leave it off.

The problem with conventional bras is that they are a major project to store, clean, install, remove. So people tend to leave them on all the time (which indeed looks ugly) or leave them in the garage.

This nylon thing is a whip-on/whip-off item, about the size of a soft-drink can when in its bag, and effortless to clean. At $160 it's also more affordable than the $600 SpeedLingerie, and I frankly think that even the $160 has lots of downside potential. I will also look around for the MADVET supplier and inquire about present/future Ferrari options if possible.

Bras are for the female only.

Yes, the Porsche wears a bra. What does that say about Porsche?
    :)
