I recently came back from a day out driving my 360F1, I got home turned if off and went in doors, I then had to nip out again so I jumped back in the car, when I turned the ignition back on (before it started) all the needles went abit mad and now they have settled in the wrong position, however what makes it even stranger is the position of the needles change again when the ignition is turned on...

for example key off rev pointer sits at 1000rpm and when the ignition is on (with engine not running) it jumps to 1500rpm, oil pressure, water temp and oil temp all do a similar thing.

I have tried to search on this forum but couldn't find anything similar, I would therefore ask if anyones heard of this problem beofre and what corrective action is needed.

    Cheers
    Pete

I'm no expert, so take this for what it's worth, but first thing I'd do is a "hard reset" - kill all the power (disconnect the battery), then turn it back on (reconnect) and see what happens. If the needles behave "normally", start the car up and let it idle for 10 minutes or so to reset the parameters in the ECUs.

But that's just me. As I said, I'm no expert....

Thanks for your reply, I did twist the mater switch the day it all happened, however I only kept it turned off for about 20 sec and then did not let it idle.

Perhaps I'll try leaving it off for abit longer..... cheers Pete
