Never thought i would be so miserable!

Last month i got an offer i could not refuse for my 328. Missing it like mad.....ever since chassis #82603 left on a trailer in the pouring rain the sun has been shining, maroon 5 release a video with a black 328 in it...and it seems every other car on the road is a ferrari driven by a man with a grin like a cheshire cat! I hoped i could do without for a couple of years, save some money etc...D'ont think it can work, it has left a very large low red throbby hole hole in my life and my wallet is full of folding stuff i have no idea what to do with no she has gone...Spending my time wistfully looking at the happy times we shared over a bottle of chianti.The wife thinks i am nuts and the baby keeps asking where the horsey has gone. Any ideas how to pass say 18 months? Should i take up golf? Any ideas welcome......i will see if there are any in the bottom of this bottle....cheers, and a toast to my little 328!

To be honest i keep lookin at foskers web site where they have a beautiful 512tr in blue with crema, complete with tubi..It would clean me out financially, and i know it is not the sensible thing to do..my day to day peugeot is slowly falling to bits, a sixteen month old baby girl,mortgage etc.But when has ferrari ownership been sensible? I know i must just try and hold out for 18 months and get a bit of cash behind me, but i am far from the most patient man in the world...this is going to be tough going.Still at least i can look on here and see you guys enjoying yourselves with epic drives....

Taking that car out for a test would basically mean buying it! I know me better than anyone (wife excepted!)- there is not a snowball in hells chance of me walking away without the keys. Looking at her on the net is bad enough, but to touch her would harden the dream amongst other things (ooer missus!). So i cannot go, just have to dream for a while and take up chess and do more cycling and rowing...healthy male type activity that does not kick the wallet to death.I remember taking my best mate to lamborghini u.k. when it was the sole dealership in reading to look at an 84 jalpa.Black with black-no wing, and 42k km....he swore blind he would not try and influence my decision.Anyway we get there, sales guy throws off the covers, mate stands at the back between the exhausts...primes the webers and starts her, all i can hear above the engine is F*ck me! buy it buy it buy it buy it! Friends..bastards!

 

Felt like i was not using it enough and got a good offer.When the baby goes to nursery in a year or two will give me more time...all them 328's look a damn site prettier now mine has gone...so many ferrari, so little time(and money!)>

 

I am no closer to the 512. Went to my last foc meeting for a year or so on thursday night and after a few beers felt ready to buy the damn thing on friday morning-everyone thought it was a great idea and put plenty of oil on the fire. A guy with a mint 348 is teetering on the edge of a f512m, for 63k,so he was no help.The ago told me he was thinking of buying a 3rd daytona!!.Apparantly a deal fell through with sheehan(is that right) on a modified daytona 2 years ago, so this sheehan has apparantly been racing it and is now open to offers.Oh and another guy is thinking of a masser gran sport or a 456-his 89 3.4 mondy convertible has just come back from venice and now has 122k on it! Car never misses a beat and is out in all weathers, although it leaks a bit...So everyone bar me is in the market....i really do have to wait and cannot handle foc meets without a car.Just get through withdrawl and i will be ok
