Thanks. Thanks. 1:1 Scale is my favorite one as well So far I'm at over 200 different Ferrari cars, so I think it would be easiest to start a new thread for my stuff. Easier for me to track what I have posted as well
Where do you find all these? I have a heard enough time finding stuff around here at TRU, Target, Kmart, and so on.
Notes on the "Ferrari Card" HW: The "599 Card" ones were found in Italy/Greece in 2008. The "430 Card" ones were found at TRU in the USA in 2008/2009. The "SCUD Card" ones were found at TRU in the USA in 2009/2010. I have not seen a "430 Card" in a store for some time. Notes on the "Speed Machine" HW: All were found at Wal-Mart and Target in the USA in 2010. I do not have a TRU near my house, so I am not there too often. I do have a K-Mart near my house, but forget that it is there, and have only gone there a few times. I buy most of the HW "Blue Cards" at Wal-Mart, as there in one just a couple minutes from my house. More images of my collection are being added to the thread I started "Imola2001's Ferrari collectables". Enjoy!
They had about 15 of the burgundy 308 the last time I went to Toys R Us. It's a great casting, but I passed on it. Let me know if you still have no luck finding one, I'm sure they still have a few hanging on the pegs by me. Chris
Thank you for your offer,we have a toys r us just across the bridge in portland,I will try looking there. If no luck I will get back to you.
I just paid off my 308 last week & when I was done the gal at the credit union gave me this one,I thought that was pretty cool of her. I have no idea who makes it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
As was the case with the 430 Scuderia, the 308 GTS QV will be re-released as no. 10/10 of the Global All-Stars - hopefully in red. The Scud was no. 9/10. http://hotwheels.wikia.com/wiki/Ferrari_308_GTS_QV Will be interesting to compare with the original 308 GTS from 1996, which is also very nice. This was originally a Corgi casting that was converted to a Hot Wheel: http://hotwheels.wikia.com/wiki/Ferrari_308_GTS
Found it tonight at Wally World. Black & red one is my son's... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
http://books.barnesandnoble.com/search/results.aspx?WRD=hot+wheels+accessories+the+ultimate+guide&box=HOT%20WHEELS%20ACCESSO&pos=0 A must have for everyone here. A HW's book that shows all the accessories from the beginning. Found it in the clearance rack and B&N for $5.99.
It's funny to go through it and say, "I had that, and that, and that". I was with my friends gf and she was a tomboy growing up and had hw's and was pointing out stuff too. Pretty funny.
hopefully i can get a set of this next week, the 599xx and 288gto main highlight of this set Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hmm... is it just me or is something wrong here... 8 Ferraris, a green chopper and a Jag XJ220? Two 288 GTOs? Awfully plain box, except for the GTO "card" up top which is covering other box art... Powerslide I'm guessing by your post you don't actually have this yet? Where is the photo from? The more I think about this, it doesn't make sense. These Ferrari Racer series cars are selling at a premium, they aren't $1 HotWheels, but they're going to put 8 of them in a $10/10 car set? OK, maybe they'll bump the price up on this set, but then they expect retailers to have a specially priced shelf space for just this one set? Doesn't make sense. I smell fake. I really hope I'm wrong... I want one!
That lower right GTO is from a garage series. I'm thinking that was a home made set. I could be wrong though..
