New 1:64 Hotwheels, F430 Spider and 512M

Found it at WalMart in the same shipper the 430 Scuderia came in. That is the only one I have seen and I've been looking quite a bit lately because of the new Speed Machines.

 

Went to ToysRus, they had lots and lots of Corvette C6s in the orange bronze color, so I left not being able to find anything, went to Target and got 2 blue Bugatti Veyrons, a 09 Cadillac CTS-V and a '67 Shelby GT-500.

 

It arrived!

You said to look for the '64 GTO with "painted vents", none of mine have that, the front fender vents??

 

I can't even find a photo of one, although I did find mention of the painted vents in a Hot Wheels guide. Oddly, they have pics of the red, yellow and black variations, but not the panted vent variation.

 

I just heard that this year's new cars will include an Aston Martin DBS, 1973 (Aussie) Ford Falcon XB GT, Mazda Furai, Lamborghini Reventon Roadster, 1962 Ford Mustang Concept, Ferrari 458 Italia (confirmation), Tyrrell P34 (!), Ducati 1098R, Nissan R34 Skyline GTR, Citroen C4 Rally, Focus RS, Toyota FJ and Infinity G37!

Gonna be some sweet cars this year!

 

Whoa, lots of great cars in that list! Cannot wait, Ducati HotWheels sounds very very interesting.

 

Looks like the Toyota FJ will be "rock crawler" style. No photos of any of them yet, but there are some card art pics around.

Wow! Thanks for posting that! There are some really nice cars I look forward to seeing. Some interesting firsts like the Ducati and Tyrell. I also want to see the 328!

How odd, after posting and viewing this thread I went to Target.....and FOUND IT! LOL!

It's in a Five Box, sure enough the darned side vents are accent painted black!!
With a door roundrel and a race number also....

So the 5 pack is on the way BACK to ya! LOLOL!

 

Other than the 5 packs I didn't find a SINGLE Ferrari card...only some 1967 Firebird 400s.....

 

I'm told there is a carded version without roundels, in red with black painted vents as well.

What color Firebird 400's did ya get? I've got it in green and red...

 

I have many of the GTOs single card but none to fulfill his request for painted.

They closed all the Toys R Us here except for a few....I'll have to check it out, Walmarts are all too big to walk thru! LOL!

 

These today were red, I had the green.......with a hood tach, I was impressed.

My 1967 convertible had a hood tach........

 

I dig the metalflake green, the red, not so much...

 

Agree...back in 1967 you didn't see many red ones whereas the forest green was very popular at Pontiac.

 

Been drooling over this sweet little number lately...

 

That brings back memories!

They took a few liberties in that restomod, and my 1967 didn't have the emblem side marker lights, a little cleaner than the '68s.......but that 400CI/ Automatic will run it up to around 130MPH, then the front end starts lifting!!!

They put the front spoiler on the Z28 for good reason!

4 wheel discs are a good idea too. But GM had 4 piston calipers way back then on the front.

 

Man that took along time.

I can swear there was a single blister with it tho. I think they may have been a mistake and they were not around for very long.

That particular 250GTO is way different than the mainline GTO. Note the size difference...

I've got a request out to some Hot Wheels folks for a photo of the panted vent mainline 250GTO, hopefully they'll come through...

 

In the Ferrari 5 pack, the 250GTOs vents on the SIDES are painted black. Is this what you are talking about, or the front vents?

 

Side vents painted black, no roundel, red car on blue card. Honestly, these are like Bigfoot to me... people claim evidence, but I'm not convinced.
