Decided to stop at Wal-Mart last night around 10pm on my way home from work. I found 4 cases unopened. As I was going through I was finding a few good cars. When going through the secobd case another collector comes and starts on the other 2. I bought - 4 Ghostbusters Ecto-1 1 Chevy Camaro Concept Treasure Hunt. Could have had 2, but I gave it to the other collector even though he found 1. 5 F430 Challenge - Yellow 1 Gallardo LP 560-4 - Flat Black 2 55 Chevy Bel Air - Red 1 Bone Shaker - Flat Blue In the shorts crads at the register I found - 1 F430 Challenge - Red 1 Bread Box - White Also went through a Johnny Lightning Side cap case and found - 1 1975 Chevy Corvette - Yellow - Lightning Streak This is a Chase/T-Hunt. Johnny Lightning also has the White Lightning Chase cars. To top it all off, a worker had a fit when she saw us going through the cases. I don't know about anybody elses point of view on this, but, if I'm a paying customer, you can kiss my @$$. I work retail and if you don't find what you want on the floor, I go get it out of the back without hesitation.
Got mine today and it even came with a fancy collector's case! Thank you! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Picked up @ TRU - 1 Hot Wheels Delivery - Volkswagen Deluxe 3 Larry's Garage - Ratbomb 2 1:87 Yellow F430 Challenge 1 1:87 Red F430 Challenge Also found a CARS Hudson with Cruisin' Lightning McQueen Tab Error I saw the Ferrari Pull Backs but didn't pick any up.
1:87 ? I'm just starting out with all these HW/MB cars but something I've noticed is the liberal scale that various manufacturers place on these cars. I bought a Jada brand car that was suppose to be "1:64" according to the package and stamp on the bottom of the car, but good gawd it looks like a monster truck compared to the HW (that are suppose to be 1:67?). Also think its interesting that some of my MB cars are, I believe, 1:61 or 1:57 which does make them a tiny bit larger. Why have such a small deviation from what many would think is a "standard" that HW likely started? Oh, and I recently picked up a MB P-car 914. 1:67 scale and it fits right in the the majority of the others.
The wheels and tires are a pretty standard size in the Hot Wheels and Matchbox line ups, so they scale the particular vehicle based on the prototypes wheels. And Matchbox pre-dates HotWheels by 15 years, while Dinky pre-dated Matchbox by 30 years. The 1:87 HotWheels are a seperate line from the regular HotWheels, and they come in stand alone boxes rather than the blister packs.
Well, I finally added two more Speed Machines, the blue Enzo and the race 575GTC, from a Super Target. There wasn't a single Ferrari to be found among the single normal Hot Wheels..........strange. Almost 'as if' someone had gone thru all the boxes, in the back, or something!! LOLOLOL!
Alan, step on it, mang. Speed Machines 333SP (lots nice than the Ferrari Races Paint), Tesla, GT-R V-Spec, Saleen, previously seen XJ220. 2 Valentines Daytonas and a short card DeLorean. Speed Machine 575GTC and 333 SP far better paint schemes than the other series. Shelby series DBR-1, Cobra Daytona, and early 289, 66 GT350H.
"Luigi only buy the FERRARIS!!!!" The trouble is they closed MOST of the ToysR Us here, I boycott Walmart for the most part, and Target really doesn't carry much inventory..... I miss the old Third World Grocery over the tracks, they'd bust open a fresh display and I'd do pretty good! Do you still want my BIG Williams F1 LEGO????? I saw a cool LEGO Ferrari (2) F1 car with transporter the other day for $80...I thought it was cool with all the toolboxes and pit crew guys.
Dealer gave that F1 set to the kids for Xmas. Working future annuities, probably. Sure, both kids love Legos. LMK how to get it. When the little guy was 4, I got him a cool pit setup, but only the car survived the break down and rebuild process. Podium set with Car, Schummi and Rubens that daughter did is intact in her room. Off limits to brother Kmarts have HW stuff, Cars stuff. There are 36 different Lightning McQueens, and 7 sets of Mia and Tia Miatae. So far.
Gotta love Fleabay. I just got this in the mail but the seller shipped the wrong item. I ordered the 333SP MOMO Hall of Fame car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just returned from the grocery store and found for $1/ea: -MB Merc McLaren SLR -HW Delorean DMC-12 -HW Ford GT LM The McLaren looks pretty cool! http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc20/zippyslug31/cars/hotwheels/photo-1.jpg
I'll bring it over, I have ALL the little sets from Shell, not all the boxes but they are all carefully bagged from disassembly, I bet I can find most of the boxes or at least the build books. Mostly F1 but there's a car wash and a convenience store too!
Been checking every toy dept when I go out lately and low and behold I stumbled upon a T-hunt mustang while standing in the checkout line at the local Fred Meyer's, and just when I thought I'd never find any T-hunt cars.
Found this yesterday at Target. The Porsche on the back is one of the coolest 1:64 cars I've seen. Looks to be a Target exclusive. They had a few others, but this is the only one I saw with anything racing related. 285Ferrari, I have 1 extra I can send ya, PM me. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

A friend let me know Walmart just restocked their Hotwheels so I was finally able to add some new speed machines; picked up the 333SP, Tesla, Nissan GTR, XJ220, Porsche GT3 and a St. Patricks Day special Corvette C6. Also got ahold of the Ferrari Racer 365 GTB and 612 last night
